London Hotel Update for Meetings & Events.
Despite the recession, more London hotels are opening up as new venues or have invested in their properties:
Von Essen’s Hotel Verta – due to open this month in Battersea with 70 bedrooms and conference & banqueting facilities for 200 delegates and a rooftop space for up to 350 people with views of London & the River Thames.
Four Seasons Hotel – will relaunch in late 2010 with redesigned rooms, suites and a new floor with a rooftop spa overlooking Hyde Park.
Radisson Mountbatten Hotel – will go through a complete refurbishment this autumn for the bedrooms and meeting rooms and will have 410 bedrooms.
Hilton Metropole – has just completed refurbishment of its West Wing. The hotel has 40 conference rooms and can accommodate 3000 conference delegates.
The Dorchester Collection – will open a new hotel early next year with 46 guest rooms and a penthouse suite.
The Corinthia Hotel – will open its doors on 2011. The 294 bedroom, 5 star hotel on Whitehall Place will have 2 restaurants, ESPA Spa, executive meeting rooms and a grand ballroom.
